Are bra strap bracelets a 'thing'

DS is 15 in year 10. He's had a girlfriend for a couple of months who's the same age. She's made him a bracelet out of a bra strap which he's proudly wearing.

Is this a trend? I dont know if its appropriate really. Would love to hear everyone's opinions.

We had shag bands in the 90s. Just as long as the GF isn't walking around half unsupported and isn't cutting up brand new bras I can't see the issue. It's not something dh would want though!

I dont know what would be worse but no, this is her actual bra strap, looks like she's sewn it herself. Must be love.

I saw someone the other day wearing what looked like a bra strap on their wrist. Not sure if definitely was but it certainly looked liked it.

Mine would all look like tatty bits of strap 😂
