What time do you go to bed? How do you manage if you have any health conditions?

I'm exhausted. Struggle every morning. Have had a bad habit if stating up roo late (stress related, and also child free time, single parent).

But even with going to bed earlier I'm still exhausted. Every morning my alarms goes off at 6.30 and most days I struggle out if bed an hour later. And rush. And be late.

To add, I have anaemia and hypothyroidism. I'm also overweight.

If your dr isn’t checking your thyroid function which is really important change gp practices. Find one that accepts patients in your area and walk in to ask to register.

They won’t notify your old gp you’re leaving or anything like that.

You can try all the wake up routines you like but if your thyroid is underachieving and under medicated you will struggle and you will damage your long term health. What you don’t want is a goitre forming which is what happened to my dh. Then the goitre went cancerous and he was dead within 6 months because head and neck cancers have low survival rates.

@FormerlyPathologicallyHappy it's not so much the GP refusing, as not actually been able to get an appointment. I did though, get through yesterday and (after making quite a lot of fuss) had a call back and have a blood test booked. It's taken me 4 months!

No you don’t. Because even getting up an hour later you make it (maybe fractionally late, but not an hour late). It is that simple. However tired you are, get up. Staying in bed doesn’t help the tiredness if you aren’t in proper deep sleep - which you aren’t.

If you're tired, just get up... Genius of the century, Einstein indeed

Except that’s not what I said.
I said don’t wake up an hour before you have to if you’re tired.
