Smart GPS watch for kids

Has anyone bought a smart GPS watch for their child? They seem a good idea and the child can ring certain numbers if they want you. It’s not got the capability of a smart phone but but gives them the ability to contact you if they want to. What the minimum age you’d consider buying for and any recommendations for a specific brand? Thanks!

I bought an "imoo" smart watch for DD (primary school)

It has GPS and can do video call / phone call with selected numbers (approved by parents). And some other functions, like dictionary by image etc.

I think the addiction to mobiles, social medias, videos etc. will be too much distraction for a primary age child (as adults, most of us can not control ourselves either... ) so a watch with the basic functions of a phone serves the purpose
