Hey,

just wondering what the percentages are….

DH has dyslexia, I don’t… wondering about DD; heard it’s a 50/50 chance.

What’s is like in your family set up?

It s not 50/50 it is much less than that. It used to be thought it was 50/50 if a mother had it, but even that is known not to be true now - debunked.

My Dad is dyslexic (although undiagnosed as in his 70s). DB and I are both dyslexic. I am assuming 50%ish chance for DC. Or rather- it is something I will really be on the look out for!

Yeah. This is the approach I’m trying to take and just look out for it, to try and get help in school etc.

Even though DH has is it, his sister doesn’t. The worst part about DH isn’t even his reading, it’s his memory (or lack of! :D)
