Applying for a job but can’t start until April

Internal move huge global organisation. Would you disclose your releasability in application, at interview or if offered the job?

As it’s internal at interview or after offer …. I think it’s normal for them to ask you?

Surely they'll ask you your notice period?

I had a job interview in March and couldn’t join the new role until August because of notice periods in teaching. I explained this at interview and they were understanding. It helped that one of the people interviewing me was previously a Head Teacher so got it.

I would tell them at interview.
