Do you have lots of different varieties of a particular favourite type of plant?

I'm asking because I quite like the idea of becoming knowledgeable about a particular type of plant. Maybe have lots of different African violets, or all different varieties of calathea?

I suppose some people have a thing for succulents.

I have quite a few Streptocarpus. I started with Susan:

They flower for ages, all through the summer with orchid-like flowers, and are very easy to look after, as long as you water and feed them well.

I love ferns.

I have lots of different ones because I like the variety but some I prefer more than others. Loving my monsters and my prayer plant at the moment. Like ferns but I sometimes struggle to find a good place for them in my house.

My grandma had a house full of pelargoniums. Her porch was full of them and window sills too.

I have a pothos and a sansiveria.
both are very easy to propagate and I have them in several pots together but also separate.
both types are easy to grow.
sansiveria comes in very many different colourings and sizing.
pothos just grows and grows.

I have a lot of different ones. The only ones I have in duplicates are Monstera (Deliciosa and Albo) and Caladium (I forget their real names, there's a very pale pink one and a darker pink one!)

Actually, thinking about it I've got a few different Snake plants too!

I stick with similar care needs more than I stick with one particular type. I like those that don't need a lot of effort 😂

I like weirder stuff that I've grown from seed - eg. my orange/lemon/lime plants, my Mango plant (sadly hasn't made it after starting out promising, so I'll go again), Date plant, Dragonfruit plantation (mass of 2" high plants after seemingly every seed germinated!), and the pineapple (yes, from seed!) that I'm hoping will make it, but they are so slow growing it's torture.

Also, the poor, tiny half-dead aloe-vera I got in Lidl that is now over a metre wide and high (and I've no idea where I'll put it if it gets any bigger!
