Just wondering if anyone had used Cinch to buy a car, and if so, how did you find it?

Thank you muchly 😁

Yep I bought 2yrs ago and it was completely pain free and straightforward. Still have the car but am ready to trade up and their buy back price is not good .
If you are just buying I'd highly recommend

Nearly bought from them once. Ordered and paid for online, then changed our mind a couple of days later as found a different car elsewhere and they were good at refunding with no hassle.

I bought my car from them 2 years ago, it arrived with a dead battery and hadn't been cleaned properly inside but they did sort it out quickly, refunded me the cost of a new battery, money for a valet and a bit extra for the inconvenience.
I would use them again

I bought a Skoda Citigo from them. A day or so before delivery they rang to say there was an issue with the gearbox, and it would be delayed. Good that they spotted it, but it put me off and I got a refund. Friend bought an Audi with no issues other than the footwells were a bit dirty.

They tend to be a bit pricier than dealers - but it's a straightforward process and there's no having to deal with salespeople.

Thanks all, really appreciated.
They have the elusive Skoda Octavia Estates on there with lowish mileage so I might just give it a go😁

Yes - very straightforward, no drama at all.

I got my current car from them and bo issues - car had a full tank, was sparkling inside and out and delivery was easy

Bought my car from them in the summer. It was really easy and straightforward. However, there was a chip on the windscreen and some paint spilled in the boot (only a little) that weren't noted on the advert. They sorted it straight away, reimbursed us for the cost of a chip repair and a full valet with a little extra for the hassle.

Bought car 2 years ago. Paid cash and didn’t take out their finance. DH arranged for delivery near his workplace and then realised the car had damaged tyre.

To be fair, they paid for replacement with no quibbles. Car was clean, no other damage and as described (very low mileage) but had no mats which was a bit weird.

The whole transaction was very quick.

Still have the car and it’s fine. I would use them again.

Car bought on cinch had torn seats which I noticed as soon as it was delivered (it was not logged on the list of imperfections.) Delivery man told me to report it to customer care and was sure it would be fixed. I did so. Told to get quotes and assured it would be fixed. Wasted time doing this. Then told they wouldn't fix locally but would send a mobile repair company...they would contact me to arrange the fix. I then heard nothing. Called them again, whatsapped, emailed and was finally told the mobile company only fix exterior dents! Went around in circles and the 2 week return period was drawing to a close. Finally spoke to a team leader from customer services. He assured me and confirmed in writing that they would fix the damage. I decided to keep the car because of this promise. Then I heard nothing. Chased and chased and then was told they won't fix the damage. Quite literally the MOST incompetent, dishonest and frustrating customer service I have ever had to deal with. I feel I have been totally mis-sold a car, putting all my savings into a product that is not worth the value that I paid for it due to this damage and will depreciate in value faster due to the nature of the damage. AVOID purchasing from Cinch. Their customer service will wow you until the car is in your possession and from that point forward if you have issues you will just be faced with incompetence and lies. I continue to battle with them...over the last 2 weeks I have sent 4 emails to the complaints department...not a single one has been replied to. The customer service manager has offered me £100 "good will gesture" which I do not accept. I have today written to their CEO and am seeking legal advice. This is all one massive waste of my time and mega stressful, it is about as far away from their pitch of "cars without the faff" as you can get.
