Does anyone know how I find an item in a picture

We are moving into a house and on the photos there’s a lovely fireplace. However on viewing the house the fireplace isn’t there so they must have sold it/taken it with them. The house is empty now (it was part exchanged for another) so we cannot contact the previous Owners to ask them where it’s from.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to screen shot a photo and try and kind of, reverse image search it for the item in the photo?

Thanks

Try contacting the estate agent, since they are the ones who took the photo and it must have still been there at the time the pictures were taken. They should be able to contact the previous occupant and ask.

On my phone (samsung) there is an option on pictures in your gallery which searches things like pinterest for similar things. Could try that? Or upload the pic and I'll have a go?

Were they permitted to take the fireplace? Wasn't it in the fixtures and fittings?

Sorry I reread your OP and see you're only viewing the property

Google Lens allows you to search for items in a photo.

Thank you SO much. Found the fireplace straight away. What an amazing app 😅
