SIL died on the 6th august and we've just found out today after being contacted by a genealogist, DH had to inform their parents of her death as she was estranged from us all and she died in a rehab facility. What happens next? Will we be able to arrange a funeral or will the body have already been taken care of?
We have a number to contact someone at the council but can't do that until tomorrow so I'm trying to be prepared for next steps.
