Air Fryer Liners

Hi, I have finally succumbed to purchasing a NInja air fryer.

Am now toying with the idea of buying liners for it - are these a worthwhile purchase or am I better off not bothering & just using the drawers?
Do the silicon ones still cook as well as just using the drawers?

The silicone ones don’t crisp as well imo. They also take on the taste of the dishwasher tablets and taint the food with their taste so you have to hand wash. The paper liners don’t cut much down cleaning wise as oil still seeps through. We tend to either cook in foil, by making a little tray out of it, or just cooking in the drawer.

Due to building work we are on week 10 of the air fryer being an integral part of cooking, and washing up being a PITA. The paper liners do a great job unless its something like sausages or bacon where there is a lot of fat, and even then they cut down on the washing up effort.

I thought the air frying bit was where the air circulated underneath the food through the holes in the trays? Doesn't adding a liner mean this doesn't happen? Or am I totally wrong.

I bought some stretch silicon lids to use as liners. Much better than paper liners, quick rinse and they're clean. Don't bother putting them in dish washer. Greasy stuff, sausage, bacon, etc I use a disposable foil tray.

I've never bothered with the liners. The drawers wash so easily (although the amount of times I have to wash them is a PITA! We all use it a lot!)

Large roll of baking paper here. Cut to size depending on what we're cooking.

thank you, I will save my money & just use the drawers I think

I just use the drawers. Very easy to clean.
