If so how was the experience and is the car as advertised and working well?

I haven't but my friend did, everything seems OK. However, when he bought his I fancied buying one myself and ended up buying from Evans Halshaw. Same thing, viewed online and brought to my house but at a better price than Cinch. So it's worth checking on main dealer sites and comparing.

As with @Ilovegoldies , I looked at cinch but bought online from a garage 200 miles away and had the car driven to my door and the old one driven away. I got a great deal. It pays to shop around.

Yes. 2. A Fiat 500 about 18 months ago and a Honda CRV about 2 months ago. Both times great service and good cars with no issues. They took away our old knackered cars too.

Yep. Surpassed my expectations to be honest. I know exactly which car I wanted though, as it's a make and model we've had before, so I knew what to look out for but the overall experience was good. I part exchanged my old one so they literally drove up to my house in the new car and took the old one away. The man who brought it showed us round the new car and I think we had a couple of weeks to decide if we definitely wanted to keep it. It later transpired that the car had a shorter MOT than advertised but that was sorted pretty quickly and they gave me some money back. The car has been absolutely fine in the year or so I've had it, no issues or anything. I'd use them again.

Thanks - sounds like positives all around!

Good plan to shop around as well.

Cheers!

a friend of mine bought her car from cinch and she didnt have a good experience the car spent more time in the garage than it did on the road and three months later she sent it back and cancelled it

I shopped around and found my second hand car which has low mileage and is practically brand new at a manufacturer garage. Was able to add two years manufacturer warranty, came with year breakdown cover and full set of new tyres. It did initially fail the MOT on omission test but they stripped it down and replaced the parts causing it before delivering it to my door so they are new also.

They also said if I ever sell it to give them a call as they would like it back as it's a gem and they originally sold it from new as well as to me.

I just kept looking on auto trader and didn't care about distance as a lot of them do delivery now but was an hour an a half away.

Yes, it was great, I'd get another from there. Really east, kept me informed at every step, lovely car, no issue at all.

PlumpAndGrump · 09/10/2023 20:21

Yes my neighbour did. And spent the next 3 months fixing issues with it until he went back to riding his bike and sold it.

Yes, it was great! Really nothing more to say than that, was a really easy, pleasant experience.
