Take two young children 1 & 5 to Egypt (Sharm El-Sheikh) in November?
Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. 😁

Not on my own..

I was severely unwell and hospitalised when I visited here. I went with the Hilton as I thought that would be a safe bet with a known brand. Ended up in hospital when I returned to the uk with very severe salmonella poisoning. Took about six months to fully recover and had three months off work. The hotel was found responsible. I’d never return nor risk taking my children.

No I wouldn't I would save expensive holidays for when they can appreciate them more.

Its a really dangerous place, I wouldn't take myself there never mind the kids.

With family who want to holiday there? I mean, why there? A 1 yr old can be happy anywhere. ditto a 5 yr old.

I wouldn’t at any time but particularly with all this trouble in Israel and the Middle East at the moment.

I would, and have with Dc 1 & 2 to Marsa Alam at 10 months, & 20 months along with Dh for holidays. We visited Sharm last year with 4 Dc aged 8-3. Fabulous weather, great holiday and visited annually until it was deemed unsafe However, I would be cautious and open to the possibility that I may have to reschedule if tensions in the Middle East escalate further due to its location in Sinai.
