How has this ring got bent like this overnight???!

It never gets taken off. Is always being twiddled so would have noticed. Fairy heavy silver.
Noticed couldn't move it around this morning and then couldn't take it off at all due to the shape.
Got it off eventually. It's bizarre, had the hand been whacked you'd know about it for it to be so misshapen.

Not lifted anything, or used tools.
Nothing.

Caught mine on a radiator and it did this

Oh my goodness this happened to my ring last week! It was fine when I took it off, then when I went to put it on the next day I really struggled and then I realised it was totally bent!

I've had a few woo things happen to me over the years, so put it down to spirits, although I don't like it!

Oh god 😱. It's certainly a strange feeling and I didn't want to think woo things but have to admit it's given us the flummoxed feeling.
I like hearing about strange things so feel free to tell!
Something else like this happened a couple of years ago too.
Just don't want an anti woo pile on here.
We'd much prefer there to be a reasonable explanation hence me posting.

Do you have a bedside table? Could you have whacked your hand off it in the middle of the night and not realised? Could you have slept on your hand and your body weight and the heat could have softened the metal?

No no bedside table in daughter's room and she's very slight build so would be surprised if she'd caused it to soften by lying on it and it warming up.
But I don't know, as others have also mentioned this here.

Hasn't opened any bottles recently.

Plus would use the other hand so unlikely to be that.

This happens to me every time I wear a ring - EVERY TIME!!! It doesn’t matter what metal the ring is made of - once it’s a metal, it warps!
