Strep throat. You need to get antibiotics

How are your cheeks, tongue etc? Were there red spots before the white? My ds gets the white with tonsillitis, red spots with strep. White patches and not much else suggests thrush to me (assuming no fever or other symtpoms).

Looks like oral thrush to me, but I've little experience of strep throat/ tonsillitis. Do you use an inhaler? My dad swears they give him thrush.

I used to get this a lot when younger ulcers on tonsils was always given antibiotics

ChocHotolate · 07/10/2023 22:06

Looks more than thrush than a bacterial tonsil infection.
Just be aware this can be spread by kissing (and sex) so be careful if you are snogging anyone

Helenahandkart · 07/10/2023 22:13

Maybe thrush

DoubleYolker · 07/10/2023 22:18

looks like thrush not tonsillitis.
