I know it's on atm but we're not in a position to get it just yet. Anyone any idea how often they do this offer?

Twice a year minimum but we have a B&Q kitchen and the quality is shit.

Oh no!!! In what way is it shit? Which type you you have, if you don't mind me asking?

So all this was about 10 years ago and I hope things have moved on.

We used their design service as we had an unusual alcove and wanted to work around it, the designer gave no solution he was just a glorified measuring man rather than actually come up with a good solution or adjustment.
We stupidly went ahead with them as their products fitted in British homes with the layouts in our homes unlike Ikea which would have needed a carpenter and adjustments to fit a British home (things like holes for wires and plumbing were not at the right place for British layouts) and even though we preferred the ikea kitchens we didn't want to deal with yet more trades people and risk it not working out. We had trusted the name and reputation of B&Q plus swayed by the glamourous sale adverts seemingly every 5 mins on TV.

I don't remember which type but it's the large high gloss cupboards with silent soft close. The soft close hinges on 3 cupboards failed within 2 years, the cupboard finish near the oven started curling and lifting. We bought built in cooker, oven, hood, dishwasher and washing machine. All had to be replaced within 3 years. We also stupidly went with fake laminated countertops and they aged really badly. I just don't rate B&Q on service, quality of cupboards or the integrated appliances. They were good in that their standard cupboard sizes fitted British homes and our awkward plumbing they also had good finance deals. The highgloss reflects light and easy to clean but also easy to see stains and mess. I think highgloss is a dated look now, though? we're now looking to fit in a new kitchen with real countertops and proper wood cupboard carcass.

I wish I'd gone for better quality and not been scared of shopping around for appliances. I was getting overwhelmed with different sized this an that, some fit more European measurements others suited for British etc.

Even the tap was replaced admittedly after like 8 years. Was from B&Q too.
