Hi all, I left a job during the pandemic due to bullying. I was highly successful and being given awesome opportunities (plus great pay) but the bullying was awful and I could no longer take it. I don’t want to go into the ins and outs, I saw a good counsellor, got a new job and have finally restored my mental health now. However, I haven’t fully recovered from the effects of the bullying - I internalised a lot of the ideas and have not recovered my career. My new company is nice, great colleagues, decent pay. But it has turned out to be a step back in level, with less opportunity and less pay. I want to stay and make it work though.
Does anyone have any ideas for moving forward? I used to be so energetic and positive before this. How can I move forwards with my life and make my new job as good as the old one?
