They're going to watch me play Zelda. Possibly take the train to the city one day, depending on the weather

Crunchymum · 07/10/2023 16:59

Week on S.E coast in a cottage we rent a few times a year. Hoping it's dry.

NuffSaidSam · 07/10/2023 17:00

We're going to the dentist.

That's all I have booked so far.

LeviOsaNotLeviosaa · 07/10/2023 17:02

We are always ridiculously busy in October half term! Somehow it seems to be the one that is busiest.

Over the week we're doing 2 NT trails, a trip to Hampton Court Palace, funfair/fireworks, hair cuts for everyone, usual classes to keep up at the weekends and some homework to do!

Girasoli · 07/10/2023 17:05

A mix of holiday club and nursery. I have the Friday off though so will do something fun with DS1...might take him to IKEA.

Prinnny · 07/10/2023 17:08

Pumpkin picking one day, Halloween disco one day, forest school with old nursery friends one day then we’re going away for 3 nights then back for bonfire night, got tickets for a firework display then back to school!

BananaSlug · 07/10/2023 17:08

Not much

Sprogonthetyne · 07/10/2023 17:24

Theme park first weekend and Edinburgh zoo second, but they both have autumn birthdays, so outings are belated celebrations. We'll also go trick or treating and have a Halloween tea on the 31st, and go to a fireworks display at some point.

DH is hopefully taking them to staying at PIL's for the 2 days I'm working nights (need to check this has been organised). They live in the lakes, so they usually get taken up mountains.

Centre Parcs, Hampton Court, circus, holiday club and Granny’s

TheHouseonHauntedHill · 07/10/2023 17:47

Going to France to get eaten by bedbugs

crumbletop · 07/10/2023 17:48

Legoland break, dance show, theatre show, children's museum, cycle training, swimming.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 07/10/2023 17:52

One day at Bocketts Farm with Gdcs, with us for 3 nights - haven’t decided on anything else yet, but at least one thing must include rides on the top of a red bus, preferably in front seats.

Hummusanddipdip · 07/10/2023 17:55

We're going to the vet and the dentist 😀

That's all that's planned for the moment, if dh gets time off work we'll have a couple of day trips.

Pascha · 07/10/2023 19:50

Work as normal. Kids will occupy themselves apart from one day out with grandparents.

Mountainviewse · 08/10/2023 22:33

We will be trick or treating.
