So our nursery is temporarily closing due to a recent Ofsted inspection, results not published yet. Imagine it will come back as requires improvement as that word was used a lot in the letter from the nursery.
We have just very luckily been offered a place elsewhere.
They say they hope to close for just a few weeks.
Has anyone had any experience with this? If so, how many weeks was your nursery closed for?
Reason being, we don't want to pay twice for a nursery place. As we pay in advance for the month, they have offered us a credit for days missed plus a percentage off at other nurseries in their chain (that are very very very far away), think over an hour's drive each way.
But we'd rather just move to this other nursery.
What can we say in our email back to them so that we do not incur double costs?
