Loop ear plugs - any good?

These keep flashing up on my FB feed.

I use normal ear plugs to sleep at night as I'm right on the airport flight path.

Are they any better than the usual foam types?

Worth the extra money?

I don't have the silicone ones that are for sleep, but my DD uses them and rates them. I use the ordinary ones for loud events and they are great and very comfortable.

Personally no, didn't like them and sent them back. They dipped everything, and didn't help with focus or background which was my initial want. Seems though most people do like them.

I’d like some sleep ones due to my dh snoring.
I find regular earplugs painful. Even small one are uncomfortable after a while.

I use these for sleep and love them, but did take a while for them to soften up. They block out a lot!

I like mine. You have to experiment to get the right position, but they're really good once you've done that. They're comfortable too.

Thanks for the replies - I might order a set - think they have a discount on just now.

Was woken by the planes as usual at 6am this morning so needs must.

They hurt my ears a lot. I got the sleep ones and it's the silicone ring (not the bits that go in your ear) that makes the cartilage(sp?) in my ear hurt so much that it hurt all day after taking them out.

I like mine, much more comfortable than regular ear plugs
