Horror films

I like watching horror and thriller films, never used to and many moons ago was in-fact more a period drama type person. Same with reading materials, period dramas have gone out the window while real life serial killers grab my attention. I don’t quite understand why I watch and read these things - does anyone else? On the surface I’m bog standard level headed caring 43 year old working mum of two. I work with a fluctuating degree of crisis management and daily have the potential of being hurt. Maybe my leisure time viewing is letting off steam?

Lol! Yes I'm a horror and thriller fan, mysteries too sometimes if they're creepy or strange
Also mum of 2, always loved watching and reading these genre

I’ve been watching horror films, sci fi and thrillers since I was a teen. I’ve never really liked period dramas. Give me a good chase scene or jump scares any day. We also watch true crime docs.

I’ve never given it much thought why. Just preferences I guess.

Nice to know it’s not just me! Friends think I’m mad when I confess my viewing
