I don't think there would be a huge difference in absorption if the capsule opened in your mouth as opposed to opening in your stomach/intestines. If anything it would reduce the effectiveness but one dose wouldn't really make much difference.
Sorry I've got my pharmacist head on and not getting the joke at all!
