My ds (8) had a friend (ChildA) and they were very close. There was an argument at the end of term before summer which didn't directly involve my DS but did result in childA screaming at my child, telling him they weren't friends etc.
Since that day things had seemed okay but not quite as close between the pair. Fair enough. But snce the start of term childA has sided with bigger boys at school who have been calling my child names and this week a few mutual friends have told my DS that childA is saying my DS is mean and that he doesn't like him.
I can't speak to mum, she is not open to any feedback on her child. I want the name calling with other friends to stop. Ideally I want to get to the root of the problem and try and sort it out. But I am not sure how to approach it.
What would you advise?
