Is there ever a right time to sell a house?!

Just that really.

We live in the countryside, surrounded by fields and the views are stunning. Looking to downsize and go somewhere a little less rural.

The estate agent that came to value the house today says there should be very good interest in the house, especially from those looking to relocate from busier areas such as London to the countryside..

But I can't help but wonder. Is it a good time to sell?? Is it a good time to buy? I don't know!

When you want to move is a good time to sell.

I’m very sceptical of estate agents, of course they will say your house will be of great interest - they want your business! There’s no perfect time but honestly I think you will have to sell for a realistic price at the moment. With increased interest rates a lot of buyers are limited in what they can afford. But likely you can buy your next place for less. Why not try it out on the market but keep expectations low.
