Tescos delivery saver quick question minimum basket

Hi. I organize a weekly online shop for an elderly relatives, well below the minimum basket requirement of £50. So we normally pay a £5 supplement plus delivery fee. We aren't signed up for delivery saver which is £7.99 a month (or £4.99 off-peak). Should we?

It says that there is a minimum £50 spend for delivery saver, so would it let me pay the £5 supplement and save us on delivery charges or would it simply ignore my request to use the Saver and make me pay the £5 supplement plus delivery as I do now?

Thank youuuuuu

The monthly fee would cover your deliveries. It’s just the £5 supplement that would still be applied.

The off-peak one doesn’t include early access to Christmas (I think Easter as well) slots now. You can only get that on the higher tier, so worth bearing in mind if they’ll definitely need deliveries from roughly 20th December.

Does it have to be tesco? They’ve just upped the minimum basket from £25 to £50 recently but other places may not have as high a minimum basket.

I do my elderly relative's online Tesco shop and now the minimum basket has increased to £50, we do it fortnightly - would that work for you?
