If you could be one of the Spice Girls then and now who would it be?

Just looking at photos of the Beckham premiere on Instagram and Beckhams are all there looking good. But also photos of Emma Bunton who looks great so it got me thinking if I had to be a Spice Girl now and then who would it be. Back in the day it was Mel C - I really liked her but now it would be Emma Bunton - not just because she's looking great but because her family life seems great and not too overexposed and she's obviously loaded ;)

Well it would have to be Emma as three of them have had mental health issues and one of them has osteoporosis in their near future. So let’s go for the one that seems healthy and happy.

Emma too.

I think Beckhams represent what is wrong with society. They are very consumerist, humongous carbon footprint, and their children have never been given the option of a normal childhood but famous from birth. I also don't like the showing off and living best life on social media. Finally they are always chasing money, even if it means getting into bed with a country with poor human rights laws. Awful that the family are held up as role models.

I just saw Emma Bunton got married fairly recently in a very low key ceremony. She does seem to have the right balance on fame / family / home

Back in the day I was a Ginger Spice fan. Geri just seemed so glamorous and fun to me when I was a kid. I loved her hair! Now I would want to be Emma, she seems lovely and quite down to earth with a long and solid relationship.

Back then I loved Geri and would have picked her when I was a tween/teen.
From an adult perspective I would pick Emma though for both then and now.

Id rather bite my toes off than watch the new documentary but the living best life fakery I’m sure is rife in there. I bet there’s no mention of Rebecca Loos while they pretend they have a fairytale marriage

Emma looks so natural compared to Victoria at the premiere. Victoria does still look great though.

I'd have said Mel C back in the day, when I didn't know she was living with an eating disorder, but like most PP I'd pick Emma now. I admire Mel B and Victoria far more than I'd have thought possible for the resilience and determination they've had to show in very different ways, but I wouldn't want their lives. Have I missed one? Can't have that! I think I'd like to be friends with Geri.
