Odd change on Spotify - anyone else noticed this today?

Only happened today. Used to be that when I clicked 'home' it would bring up some icons at the top, and the bell icon would have a blue spot if there was a new podcast from one of the ones I follow. This has now disappeared and I've not idea how I'll now get notified of new podcasts!

Has anyone else noticed this change today?

Just looked and mine hasn't changed and isn't needing an update either.. are you logged out or something

No, logged in as usual. I've noticed if I click on a new button at the top it takes me to some options including "what's new" so maybe this is it from now on. It's useless though if it is going to replace the old system!

This happened to me too! The bell was there one minute and gone the next. Now you have to press the letter in the corner to see new episodes etc.

I don't like it at all, but I guess like every other app change we'll get used to it eventually... It seems so clunky and needless, though. The bell was right there!

I've just checked mine and it's changed too, I prefer the old style but while checking just now I've realised I can listen to some audio books also, I didn't know that was an option.

Entirely missing the point of this post, but I've just learnt what pressing the blue bell does! Thank you. Hope it's still there tomorrow.

My bell is still there.
I hate it when they make changes to my apps. My bank have recently changed some things and it drives me slightly mad whenever I need to do stuff.

Also off topic but I hate the way Spotify keeps telling me about podcasts when I've decided I'm not interested in them in the main screen. I tend to use a separate app for them (podcast addict) unless they aren't available anywhere else to keep it separate from the music.

Well, it looks like it's a definite change - will just have to get used to it.

@Grumblevision - yes, I hate this too. Looks like this change has an infinite list of podcasts you 'might be interested in' if you scroll down. You have the option to click 'not interested' but it's pointless as it goes on and on.

Why to apps do this???? When the original worked perfectly well????
