Are special needs teachers counted as social care or health care workers for covid vaccination purposes?

there is no longer a legal mandate for anyone to get Covid vaccinations since March 2022 including health care staff

I work in an SEN school which also has children's homes. No talk of Covid boosters. Funnily enough I was talking to some of my work colleagues today about the boosters and not one of them would have it this time round even if they could. They all had the first three boosters.

Personally I would have one as I'm a lot older but not eligible as not over 65.

I work in SEN and was never considered eligible for vaccines along with healthcare workers. I had to wait.

Thanks, our school has been hard hit staff wise and I was wondering if I could get it. Seems to be making people very ill now.

Other vaccines can be mandated for special needs teachers though, such as hepatitis. That has always been the case

It seems shortsighted that carers can get boosters but not SEN teachers.
