He's not thought about the 21st Century, though. Google, in particular;

I'm very partial to a tinned mandarin but that's quite off-putting.

I watched a video about this. It was quite interesting.

I seem to remember that hydrochloric acid was used to get the white bits off after the peeling.

I may be thinking of grapefruit actually.

Well he SHOULD be worried! Does he not realise how many families up and down the country are now either debating the fate of mandarins, or fancying some with fresh cream (and they don’t have any!!!!)?
