HMRC - incorrect salary - can anyone help

just checked the website and it has wrong income showing. Slightly lower.

has anyone been in this situation before? Will it get sorted or do I need to call them

For this tax year or a previous?

If previous you need to advise them. If this year your employer reporting monthly will resolve.
