Myself? I should have cracked on with moving some time back!

On a more serious note I really need to knuckle down to getting rid of a couple of old printers, sift through clothes and sell/donate, go through old paperwork and get rid of things I don't need...there's quite a lot to do, tbh

pizzaHeart · 03/10/2023 00:10

A lot! Old paperwork, old toys , DD’s bicycle and child car seat, spare shoelaces, clothes which don’t fit me anymore.
You name it and I will dig it out of the garage

icallitasplodge · 03/10/2023 00:11

I’ve got a bunk bed (dismantled) in my bedroom. No idea why, maybe I was going to sell it. I need to bin the thing.

Talipesmum · 03/10/2023 00:17

So much. But I think the best one is the pole to open the loft hatch. We’ve had a loft conversion for nearly 3 years now and we have a permanent staircase, the hatch is long gone. It still lives in the cupboard on the landing.

ashtyler · 03/10/2023 00:33

My ex-husband :D

EmmaPaella · 03/10/2023 00:43

I only recently threw out some giant ants made of recycled aluminium that I bought at a Christmas market in 2007. Have no idea why I kept them so long.

Mrsgreen100 · 03/10/2023 00:44

A bag for life filled with broken watches. Dh is supposedly either going to fix them or sell them for parts. 6 years and counting.
3 diesel heaters - see above.
6 Jerry cans of red diesel technically not in the house but in the garage.

Pussygaloregalapagos · 03/10/2023 01:01

A little blue wizard.

Put it on Freecycle. Someone will collect.

The diesel may no longer be usable if it’s been hanging around for a couple of years or so.

Dentistlakes · 03/10/2023 06:09

My wedding dress. It sits in a box on the top of my wardrobe. I should really donate it to a charity shop, but I can’t bring myself to do it. I’ve been married for 23 years!

Petaldust · 03/10/2023 06:17

Candles. For if the electric goes off. I never use them and if the electric goes off I’ll use a torch.

BasinHaircut · 03/10/2023 06:20

A pair of rollerblades that I bought whilst I was at uni 20+ years ago.

im pretty good at getting rid of stuff but for some reason I can’t let them go. I have a dodgy ankle so I’ll almost certainly never use them again but they remain!

Lulu1919 · 03/10/2023 06:47

Paperwork from things we don't have anymore
Lots of boxes....and jars.....
A whole shit drawer in the kitchen

StarlightLady · 03/10/2023 06:49

Instruction books for things l no longer have.

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 03/10/2023 10:02

@StowOnTheWold it is fine for the beta engine, it’s proper diesel not the modern crap with additives which just melts hoses and breeds diesel bug. Last of the decent fuel!! Just annoying to have it sat there not being used for its intended purpose.

IHeartGeneHunt · 03/10/2023 10:05

A travel cot. Never used it.

MillieTanter · 03/10/2023 12:24

Oh god - I had just about forgotten the two drawers full of identical cables, just how many usb cables do two people need?
