Booking a service-plumber

I need to get some work done. I need a plumbing job done.

How do you guys do it? Do you phone or text? I found him on whatapp. I would prefer to text him on whatapp and send a picture. If I could show him a picture, that could be great because then he will know what I need done. It should be an easy job.

Would something like that be allowed?
Is it too late or should I wait til the morning.

I made contact with a plumber this morning but on WhatsApp. He didn't reply to me. Now, maybe he's busy but should I wait another hour or two and phone him. I wanted to use WhatsApp so that I could send him a picture of the work that needs to be done.

I didn't get a reply.

Should I phone him?

I usually call them offer to send a pic because it's sometimes hard to explain stuff if you don't know the name of parts.

I rang the plumber but it went unanswered.

Should I try again later if I don't hear back from him or find someone new.

I rang about an hour ago but got no reply. Should I start branching out to look for another plumber?

It's nearly 5 pm now now and the day is coming to a close and turning into evening but I still didn't hear back from the plumber. I ahve the name and number of another plumber. Should I phone him, maybe.

I finally got in touch with a plumber a few days ago. When I was chatting on the phone to him he said sounds like I need a new tap. He asked me to send him a picture. He said he will be with me on Friday morning and he will get in touch with me on Thursday or Thursday evening before Friday. After the call I sent him a picture of the tap. He never replied back to me. It's Thursday evening now and I don't have a text or call from him.

What am I to make of this?

If he's not coming to me tomorrow, I would like to know so that I am not sitting at home doing nothing and I would also like to know so that I can look for another plumber who will turn up when he says he's going to turn up.

I still didn't get a call or message from the plumber so what am I supposed to do?
I have a leak at home that needs to be fixed and I won't be able to organise other time off.

Hope fully he will still come tomorrow but he said he was going to contact me on Thursday evening but he didn't and also he never replied to my WhatsApp message the other day.
