Selling a t shirt for my daughter on Vinted. I’ve had lots of offers and favouriting. One buyer made an offer and I accepted but has not paid or been in communication since. I have enquired whether they still want it but no reply. Other buyers have since made offers. What would your advice be please?

You can accept as many offers as you like I think. It's the first person to actually pay for it who gets it.

Happy to be corrected, but that's my understanding^^.

Yea I had this and accepted all offers and someone bought it first, snooze you lose on vinted!

People make offers and don't pay all the time on Vinted. You just keep accepting offers until someone buys.

Thank you - that’s really useful to know.
If I accept a different offer and the first one pays suddenly, what happens then?

Whoever pays first gets it.

Once it's bought, it's no longer available for anyone else to purchase

I’ve sold a number of things on Vinted with ease and it’s the first time that something like this has happened. Good to have prompt advice from wise Mumsnetters!

Came across this thread as I regretted accepting a low offer especially as so many had 'favoured'. The buyer hasn't clicked on the buy now button in nearly 5 hours so I'm hoping someone else will come in and offer full price (which is low to start with). I thought I was obliged to sell to the first one as I'd accepted her offer. Thanks everyone for the information.

In my experience on Vinted about 50% of people whose offer I accept never follow through, I don’t know why, it drives me mad. In the early days I used to wait and ignore other offers, now I accept them all (if they’re reasonable) and it’s the first to act gets it!

Resurrecting an old thread - I’ve just had an angry message from a buyer about this. I had posted a dress for £10, someone offered £9 which I accepted but then didn’t pay - in the meantime someone bought it at full price (rather than offering a lower price for me to accept, so it was automatic). Just trying to explain to them that it was still listed for sale because they hadn’t paid and accordingly I haven’t done anything wrong!
