Is there anyone here who works at a law firm who would be able to offer an opinion on this?
If you were working for a law firm on an insurers panel and through your personal life, had cause to make a claim against that particular insurer. Think an accident outside of work causing injury.
Assuming another panel firm dealt with it and there were no conflict or independence issues, what would the firms attitudes toward this be? I’m assuming it must happen from time to time? What would be the likely outcome?
