does anyone 'screenshot' an image on the back of their eyelids?

When I have just dropped off to sleep and starting to dream I sometimes I get wakened suddenly by a noise etc and the last image of the dream gets imprinted on the back of my closed eyelid like a screenshot. I am awake by this time but eyes still shut and can view the image as if it was a photo, looking at different parts of it. After about a minute or so it fades away. Told my husband and he looked at me if I was crackers!

Does anyone else experience this?

I think I've experienced this once or twice. I certainly wake often with an extremely vivid sense of what I've been dreaming, to the point where part of me feels like I'm still in the dream.
