Any personal trainers here?

Hello,

I’m looking for some advice from anyone who’s a personal trainer, or who has been.

I’m mid 40s and looking to retrain as a personal trainer to escape my hellish career and desk job. Fitness is a big passion of mine so I’m not starting from scratch in terms of experience in the industry.

My main concern is generating much income and getting started. I’m anxious that it’s a big move but I desperately want to make it work. I can’t sit at a desk any longer doing something I’ve got no interest in!

Does anyone have any words or advice or just a general do / or don’t go for it?

Hi! I'm a PT. Aged 41. I'd be happy to meet with you or have a call to chat it all over!

I'm not a PT but perhaps look up James Smith on Instagram etc. He gives advice for PT's on how to grow your business beyond the basics. I can't comment on what other PT's think about his advice - because I'm not one - but as an avid weight lifter, I like the stuff he puts out about the industry.

I did a PT qualification then a pre and post natal specialism. I don’t use it at the moment but have done. There’s a local PT where I live and he says he’s never struggled to make an income from it, always lots of demand.
