We are going to Thailand for New year and trying to work out how to get 4 adults with cases to the airport in an Astra. Has anyone bought anything good to solve this or is there a way of loading them in that will work?

So many questions. Have you tried to fit them all in as a dry run? How long are you going for? Do you all really need large suitcases? You might get at least one of them between the two in the back.

5 of us went to Thailand & Vietnam for 3 weeks. Between us, we had 3 large hold-all, weighing less than 40 kg.

Have you tried to get them all in the boot? How long are you going for? Do you actually need 4 large suitcases?

One of the men is XXL so I don't think we can squeeze it into 3 cases as his clothes are big

How long are you going for? My husband and I can share a case for a week's holiday.

A large rucksack/Hold-all will be easier to squish in that a suitcase. One in the middle in the back and then three in the boot.

4 hard cases? No way.
you need super light clothing for Thailand. Only one jacket/cardi which you can wear on the plane

Great idea will try a holdall on wheels, thank you

Depends on your Astra model and type.

Astra H - no chance.

No idea about J.

Astra K - maybe. You'd have to take your shelf out. But I honestly don't think so. I have a K, but had an H for years.
