My friend's experience with the police

So my friend told me about his own experience with the police:

  1. Someone accused him of harassment via social media 2 years after the fact
  2. The police had screenshots with his name and face on it
  3. When he got to interview, his solicitor pointed out that the time to report harassment has ended
  4. He said 'no comment' throughout the interview and admitted nothing
  5. The police let him go, telling him 'no further action'

Will a similar thing happen to my mine malicious communications racially aggravated charge?

It might, yes.

It's racially aggravated now? I think you need to stop starting threads about this and take your solicitor's advice. No-one here is going to be able to predict the future based on what you do/ don't tell us in your posts.

There’s clearly more to this than you’re posting and you’re getting legal advice so why you feel the need to keep starting threads about the same thing is mystifying.

No one here knows what you did or didn’t do so it’s not like you’ll get any useful advice.

What has your solicitor advised you? They’ll know more about this than any of us. You are leaving a trail by posting all of this. Stop and follow the legal advice you are being given. There’s no one on mumsnet who will be able to tell you what’s going to happen.
