I'm Watching - how many threads on your list?

I have just noticed that I have 1188 on mine? I am amazed there are so many.

I'd like to know how to delete most of them.

(Given I don't return to many of them)

No way I could cope with that! I feel pressured if I have more than about 6 on mine 🤣
Do you keep up with them all?!

I never look at my 'watching' tab tbh.

I've only got 29 on there atm but that's because I've rejoined recently after a detox 😁

I delete them when they no longer interest me.

Actually that turned out not to be true.
I seem to have loads and I'm ploughing through them and deleting most of them.

979! I don’t know why I put threads on my watch list as I don’t often return beyond the first ten and any threads that I am really interested in tend to get deleted! Need to do some mumsnet housekeeping.

8, I like to keep them so I can see them all on the same 'page' on the app, once a thread has gone quiet or I'm not interested in it anymore I delete.

I don't know if you can change in settings but every time you post on a thread it is also automatically added to 'watching' as well as 'I'm on'.

You can stop this happening if you untick the 'watch this thread' box before you post. Annoying really as you don't need it to be on both lists.

With long threads I tend to just bookmark the OPs last post and when I check back, if there are no more posts by OP I just delete it as they aren't coming back.

Some long running threads I keep as OPs sometimes update weeks or months later. These are usually in relationships where real action takes time.

Maybe around 5 or 6?

I tend to Unwatch after a day or two as they usually drop off by then.

No, I only post regularly on a couple of threads, no idea what is on the list!😂

Just been to the last page and the oldest is March 2021 - I thought threads were deleted after 6 months?
