Waiting to be sick...

Isn't it just such a horrible feeling? DS was vomiting all Thursday night. And of course now we've got it.

DH has just started being sick. I feel awful and am just sat here waiting for the inevitable. I think I've got about 15mins before it starts.

We've got no one to watch DS tomorrow for a few hours either. He's only 14 months. And he's bound to wake up shortly. It's going to be a long night and day 😭

Please send any tips to help us get through it!

Could you eat something carby? Might stop you vomiting??

💐💐 hope you feel better soon

Any jobs that need doing, like unloading and reloading the dishwasher, do it now before the puking starts. I would put DD's Bibado coverall bibs on her to reduce the amount of clothes I had to wash. The puking should be over fast. We had this at a similar age and it was awful. Remember that it will pass and do whatever you have to in order to cope, be that lots of TV or YouTube or lying naked in the floor etc!

Oh and buckets. Bathroom puking is difficult with tiny children.

Did the inevitable happen?

Babaganoo · 01/10/2023 06:54

Thanks all! The inevitable did happen... but weirdly only once! I was sick then fell back to sleep like nothing happened. Very strange and counting my blessing this morning. Poor DS had it for 7hrs the other night! Haven't checked on DH yet... he's asleep in the living room.
