Overcoming anxiety success stories

I’ve always had mild anxiety but it’s not held me back in the past really. However since having my two children and various family things happening it’s out of control…possibly sleep deprivation making things worse but I’m having just about daily panic attacks at the moment or feeling like I’ve got one hanging over me all day if not / on edge.

ive previously travelled the world solo / places like Africa and India where I probably should have been a little anxious but wasn’t …and now feel really stressed about even leaving the house or going on small family holidays within the uk etc.

anyway I’d love to hear success stories of how you overcome your anxiety and / or panic attacks. At the moment I can’t imagine feeling better and it just seems to be getting worse. I’ve been in therapy for ages …

If you're willing to try medication I've found that pregabalin has made a significant difference to my anxiety symptoms. The downside is that it is addictive and you need to take it regularly as opposed to as and when but its the only thing that has made any real difference with my anxiety, I do therapy and all the breathing/grounding techniques too but they work so much better alongside the pregabalin

I was in a horrible place a couple of years ago. Couldn't do barely anything without panicking. I went onto anti depressants and did emdr therapy. I've just come off the anti depressants a few weeks back and am in a much better place. Hope you find something that works for you.
