Baby is 6 months old . Was 4 weeks early. He weighs 5.72kg. On 1st centile. He's fed on demand but he will go anything between 4-6 hrs between feeds he had 7 oz at each feed. And he always leaves some . Now I'm writing it down it does not seem much. But it is confusing as he does leave some in the bottle?

Weaning has started.

Is this a massive worry?

If Hes always been on the first centile i would of thought that was fine. Some babies are just small.

It depends how much he weighed at birth, has he doubled his birth weight?

my first was 7lbs 2oz at birth but only weighed 12lbs 10oz at 6 months, no one was particularly concerned.

However, any concerns should be brought to your HV or GP. Milk should continue to be the main source of nutrition up to 12 months at least.

He was 6 pound 10oz at birth. No one had been concerned at all. Until baby was unwell few days ago mum took him to hospital. He's in antibiotics now. Babys mum has a social worker due to DV situation. There was a nurse who really judged mum. Now there is all stress and madness about babys Weight making mum do charts of what she feeds him. When and how much. Also been given prescription milk. She's been round health visitor abd other professionals often and there's never Been a concern.

Baby and weight is the most unhealthy stress. I’m not joking. My baby was literally weighed every twelve hours 🙄 when he was in hospital having an operation. He was 3pounds when born never ever measured on the charts. Today he’s on the 5th percentile. He’s gained 6 kg in a year. Honestly they get there in there own time. I paediatrician was our angel. She never once cared about the charts, if the child is active and healthy that’s all that matters
