What are your guilty pleasures, that you would pay a little bit over the top for? Mine - Diptyque Candles and Torres Crisps.(Iberico ham flavour).

The idea for me of someone from the UK (I presume) particularly enjoying Spanish crisps is funny! I live in Spain and it can be difficult to find crisps with flavours other than Ready salted, ham or campesino. Endless variation of salted -"Olive oil," "sea salt" 🙄 But Torres are a good quality brand, it's true. And I must say that when I was in the UK recently I had some crisps that I thought were actually too strongly flavoured. Never thought I'd see the day! Think they were M&S sweet chilli.
Anyway, sorry for crisp derail. My guilty pleasures are probably crap like Say Yes to the Dress and cheap supermarket chocolate mousse containing non-vegetarian gelatine.. And crisps, of course.

The synthetic cream donuts at the local bakery, they're pure processed artery clogging filth but I have them once in a blue moon ( I shouldn't I'm diabetic ) with a big mug of tea.

Buying an aisle seat and the one next to it when I book a cinema visit as a buffer to the general public.

Yes I am a snob.

Phil Collins.

Just watching him on BBC4 and thoroughly, unashamedly enjoying it.

A big bag of Paprika Lays is the food of choice for anyone on a half-board holiday in Spain bridging the gap between breakfast and dinner.

Obviously rumour has it people are known to make up cheese and ham rolls, wrap them in a serviette and smuggle them out from the breakfast buffet, but I couldn't possibly comment!

littlbrowndog · 29/09/2023 21:43

Lays crisps. Honest to god the best crisps ever

I was skim reading and misread that as prosciutto and cocaine. I thought "I can really relate to that first one".

I don't think the OP meant guilty in the legal sense.

Me too, I've hundreds of them. Am re-reading Judy Blume at the moment!
