Hi all,

I had an MRI on my shoulder and have been sent the results but it’s all in dr speak and I don’t know what it means! Drs is now shut til Monday.

it says: The AC joint appears congruent with no significant widening evident although there is subtle signal hyperintensity within the capsular structures. However whilst the conoid ligament is intact, the trapezoid component appears lax with impression of partial tear towards the clavicular attachment.

It means you've damaged the tendon that goes from the inner workings of your shoulder joint to your collarbone but there's no evidence that you've got a dislocated shoulder.

You're probably going to be referred for Physio because you've got a partial tear of the tendon and signs of frozen shoulder.

Do the exercises without fail, even if they feel foul at first - they really do work.
