Do men ever daydream about marrying someone?

Haven't we all done it? Met a lovely guy and pictured marrying them and settling down, having their babies etc. Do you think men ever think like this or is it all sex thoughts for them?

Edit: I don't just mean having a wedding as such, I mean lots of people/most just move in these days so substitute that if marriage isn't your thing

I'm fairly certain there are women who haven't done this either. I certainly never have.

Me neither, I hate the tired old trope that all girls grow up dreaming of their wedding. It's bollocks.

I never dreamt of "meeting a lovely guy and pictured marrying them and settling down, having their babies etc." I was quite certain from a young age that marriage was out for me & that I never wanted babies. Was also certain I couldn't learn to adult so "settling down" mean choosing my homeless squat, at best.

I haven't asked women about their expectations. I have asked men if they wanted marriage or kids, some of them were very effusive & romantic about wanting those things.

I did make it clear that I wasn't referring to the wedding specifically in the first post.

I very much doubt it. There wouldn't be the time in-between thinking about sex and football.

I was goint to say that to men marriage and/or live just means sex.
And a servant.

I think so. My teenage son really wanted to marry his first boyfriend. He's super romantic.

My DH had 3 life goals that were - be a good man, husband and father.
He was an orphan and his nightmare foster mum died when he was 14 so he went homeless. He dreamed since he was a small boy of having a real family, and that meant meeting a woman, marrying and having children. He often says how much he loves me, our DC and his life.
