You’re better off throwing in the odd longer fast. It’s hard to eat at a lower calorie amount every day because it just doesn’t feel satisfying, but you’re raising your insulin each time you eat, so you’re essentially remaining hungry.

I personally find it easier to do longer fasts. You could do alternate days or you could do rolling 48 hours, for example.

I lost 1 stone 4 over 3 months.I have mct oil and collagen in a coffee in the morning, keeps me full.
I have eggs or bacon around 1130am, porridge seems to make me pile on weight no idea why. Then I have a small lunch around 2 and dinner at 5. That's it, I don't eat past 6pm ever.
I don't really eat carbs except with my dinner maybe rice or potatoes.

Wow well done!

Funny I find porridge makes me gain weight too even tho I was always taught that it was super healthy, mind yoi probably becasue I like to make it with milk not water and add lashings of honey!

Yes I do agree with that. The intermittent fasting of 14 or 16 hours didn't seem to do that much but once I did a couple of 24 hour ones that really started to shift the weight.

24 hours is my max tho, I could not possibly do 48 hours, I just don't think I could handle that. I think I would feel really sick for if I didn't eat for that long.
