I know it's a silly concept, but I swear I met mine if they actually exist....

From the internet:

Sometimes discussed in terms of a “mirror soul” or “soul connection”, a twin flame is the other half of your soul. It is theorized that a soul can split into two after ascending to a high frequency. Thereafter, the soul lands in two different bodies.

Pile of shite.

If i described DH as either a soulmate or twin flame he'd think I was being pretentious, sarcastic, or been at the gin.

I have had a couple of grilled Dover Sole. That is closer to perfection than many things.

I think it’s just a narcissistic way of describing someone you’re very compatible with. Stupid phrase.

Opened this thinking it was going to be about some kind of fancy hob

It's a newish wanky term for soulmate

Riverlee · 29/09/2023 09:32

Daft expression. Soul mates makes more sense.

Generally it means that you have found someone that your body thinks will help you produce healthy babies.
Therefore you are consumed by lust and able to overlook their flaws.

WashingBasketFull · 29/09/2023 09:33

Soulmate is better. If a twin flame is the other half of your soul that got separated, then that’s sort of creepy and incestuous if that person becomes your sexual partner….

My understanding is that it's not necessarily romantic, and that's the difference with a soul mate.
