I think it's good value Catsfrontbum. That money in the SE would buy you a boring box with a small plot.

StowOnTheWold · 28/09/2023 22:21

Someone who once stayed there told me it is inhabited by some enormous spiders.

Oh no - don’t ruin the dream for me! 😱

colouringindoors · 28/09/2023 22:40

SUCH a beautiful house 😍 Love the use of colour 🎨

AdoraBell · 28/09/2023 22:40

Oh very nice 👌

TokyoSushi · 28/09/2023 22:42

Oh my, what a dream.

TenThousandSpoons · 28/09/2023 22:46

It’s nice but maybe (whispers) it’s a bit too pink and green themed?

minipie · 28/09/2023 22:46

Ooooooh

Aaaaaaah

Ineedwinenow · 28/09/2023 22:48

Beautiful house 😍😍😍 but a little bit too much wooden panelling for me, it doesn’t look original so I suspect it would have had beautiful original wallpapers in every room before the panels! But I’d be happy to live in and suffer it if it was given to me 😆

MouseMinge · 28/09/2023 23:04

It's stunning. It's always been one of my favourite things in Sex Education but I have a tendency to get fixated on architecture and interiors in film and television. All of those lovely wood burners! Given the size and the amount of land it's relatively reasonable although no doubt expensive for the area. The area is what would put me off. I'm not a fan of Herefordshire having lived there for a few years. It's a lovely county but I have mostly bad memories. Whoever ends up buying it is getting an utterly stunning home.

I fucking love it- how gorgeous!

but 1.5mil?

Not sure where you live but you can get a 4 bed detached in a cul-de-sac with a smallish garden for that where I am (SE). You'd be lucky to get a 3 bed terraced with a courtyard garden for less than half a mil. 1.5 for 4.2 acres and a beautiful setting is great value!

AvocadotoastORahouse · 28/09/2023 23:20

That's a gorrrrrrrgeous house!

MistyMountainTop · 28/09/2023 23:31

EPC's a bit rubbish!

Trumpton · 29/09/2023 00:10

That is total perfection. Do you think they would include the furniture? <<rattles money box>>

Feetupteashot · 29/09/2023 00:15

Yes please

Taytocrisps · 29/09/2023 00:15

I thought it was Oti's house (from Strictly).

Tireddoggy · 29/09/2023 00:15

Absolutely stunning.

grannyjacob · 29/09/2023 00:24

That is very, very nice and in a lovely area. I live in Scotland, thought I was used to trees and general “green-ness” but was taken aback by the Wye Valley when I was on holiday down there many years ago.
One niggle though - I don’t see any wardrobes in any of the photos.

ThroughTheForestUpTheHill · 29/09/2023 06:27

I only live a few miles away in the Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire). We moved from the SE, house prices are way cheaper here. They rise as you get into the Wye Valley and Herefordshire but are still competitive. The house's location is stunning but touristy. We viewed a house very close to it (and way cheaper) but didn't like it as we didn't feel a sense of community there.
It is bloody gorgeous though...

Hard to imagine that the houses and schools in sex education are real. So beautiful. Loved the Rightmove description giving us all the details/history.

Beargrumps22 · 29/09/2023 08:44

WhatACluster · 29/09/2023 09:46

That is beautiful 😍

JaninaDuszejko · 29/09/2023 09:59

I'm mainly disappointed that the interiors aren't the interiors they use in Sex Education. Beautiful location though.

MermaidEyes · 29/09/2023 09:59

It's beautiful although too remote for my liking to actually live there, fantastic as a holiday home though. It looks so much bigger than in the show, I'm guessing they only film in a handful of rooms though.
