I’ve had The Singing Detective in my head for decades because of him.

So sad 😞.

I've been thinking about rewatching Harry Potter last week. So devastated to hear the news!

It’s very sad for his family, especially his young children (but that’s a whole other story and quite a disappointing one to be honest - his poor wife…).

He was great in The Singing Detective - memories of being mildly shocked by the scenes where he was struggling with the attractive nurse applying cream to his body when I watched it aged about 12.

He was outstanding at his job.

The Cook, The Thief,his Wife and her Lover Was in my opinion one of his best ever performances.

He was married to his wife for a very long time, but a few years ago he moved in his mistress and had two children with her. Apparently his wife was devastated that he had an affair but rather than split the marriage came to an agreement of the above.

Wow @Gerrataere marriages can be so complex.
