Christmas slots

Despite going online at six this morning, I’ve missed the Ocado delivery slots, I’m obviously a rank amateur!
Anyway does anyone know whether or not some of them magically become free at any point or is there no point in me checking in the hope that I may somehow get lucky?

Nothing, nada, nil spots!

Because they release slots earlier for more loyal customers. I rarely use Ocado and didn’t get my email until yesterday. friends who use it more often, got an email sooner than I did!

I do a fortnightly shop.

They do cherry pick but I’m not sure loyalty forms part of it.
i was a smart pass holder for fifteen years with a regular weekly slot and sometimes ordering twice. It became obvious to me a couple of years ago that Ocado were prioritising customers but I was most definitely not one of them and by the time I was eventually deigned important enough to be given a slot selection there were slim pickings left.

Their more recent methods of grading customers was another one of the reasons I cancelled.

Waitrose have Christmas week slots available - or at least they did an hour ago when I was on!

A handful of slots just showed up today and I managed to get a good one so keep trying OP!

They finally arrived about ten minutes ago, I’ll shut up now!☺️
