New ebay user, Made my first order a few days ago, Ordered a coffee table.

Got a text from delivery company on the 26th saying it was out for delivery but if I wasn't going to be in I could arrange for it to be delivered another day, I knew I wasn't going to be in yesterday or today so I changed the delivery date to the 28th, so tomorrow.

Got an email confirming the new delivery date of the 28th.

Was at work today and when I got home I got a notification from ebay to say it was delivered today at 3pm.

Nothing through the door to say it was left at a neighbours etc, Looked in back garden and in bin shed, nothing, had no text today to say it was out for delivery like I did yesterday, And no picture of it at my front door to prove it was delivered, If it was delivered then it must have been left out in the rain and was gone when I got home.

If I go to tracking it says customer requested new delivery date of the 28th, then next to it says delivered on the 27th.

Do I contact the seller or the delivery company? or both? If its saying delivered how do I even go about proving I never got it? to them it shows as it was delivered so would it be my word against theirs?

I'd wait until tomorrow. Maybe the delivery person put down todays date, but its actually being stored until tomorrow due to the date change. I'm just guessing here based on other, non-ebay deliveries I've had.

Ebay do have a community forum, and almost every scenario already has multiple answers, otherwise, you can always ask the question yourself on there. Personally, I'd check there before contacting the seller, who may get less tracking info than you do.
